Adjustable GPS Battery Charger
Adjustable battery charger for the LiPo batteries used in the Featherweight GPS. To charge the the 400 mAhr Tracker battery, set all the DIP switchs to "off" except for the 400 mA DIP switch, plug the battery into the compatible connector, and connect the charger with a micro-USB cable (not supplied) to any USB outlet, such as a car charger or portable USB charger. To charge a 1.2 Ahr ground station battery, turn on the 500, 300, and 200 switches to get 1.0 Amps
Note: This charger is compatible with the Featherweight GPS batteries. To charge batteries used in Featherweight Altimeters, go here.
Tracker Battery + Adapter
A 400 mAhr Lithium Polymer battery plus a connector adapter that works with the Featherweight GPS Tracker. The connector adapter can be installed horizontally as shown in the photo, or vertically. The tracker battery also plugs into the ground station enclosure for recharging in the field. The 400 mAhr capacity provides about 4-6 hours of tracker operation.
This cell includes cell protection circuitry that prevents sustained high current discharge, making it good for powering a tracker but unsuitable for use driving deployment charges with an altimeter. A charger for it is here
